Since all data processing happens locally on your device:

• Plant photos are analysed by the on-device AI model to detect diseases
• Detection results are saved locally for your reference
• No data is transmitted to any external server
• You have complete control over your data

4. Camera & Storage Permissions

PlantDoc requires certain permissions to function:

• Camera Required for: Taking photos of plants directly within the app
• Storage/Gallery Required for: Selecting existing photos from your device

These permissions are used only for the core functionality of detecting plant diseases. You can deny these permissions, but the app will not function properly.

5. Third-Party Services

PlantDoc does NOT use any third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud services.

The app operates 100% offline once installed. The only external dependency is:

• Google Play Store - For app distribution and updates (standard Android platform)

We do not integrate with Facebook, Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, or any other tracking SDKs.

6. Data Storage & Security

All your data is stored locally on your device:

• Plant photos and detection history are stored in the app's private database
• This data cannot be accessed by other apps on your device
• When you uninstall PlantDoc, all local data is permanently deleted
• No backups of your data are created on any external servers

7. Children's Privacy

PlantDoc is suitable for all ages and does not collect any personal information from children or adults. The app can be used safely by anyone interested in learning about plant health.

8. Your Rights & Control

Since all data is stored locally, you have complete control:

• Delete your data: Clear app data via Android Settings or uninstall the app
• Export your data: Not applicable as no data leaves your device
• View your data: All detection history is visible within the app

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
